Sonos iPhone Music Streaming
Sonos today launched an amazing new feature
SONOS have launched a new firmware upgrade launched this morning enables the ability to stream music from an iPhone, similar to Apple’s Airplay feature. However, this new feature allows for multiple songs to play from the same device. Even incoming phone calls or text messages do not interrupt the music playing from an iPhone.
This is a FREE upgrade for all SONOS owners, to enable the new feature SONOS owners just need to upgrade the firmware on their SONOS system and update the Apple iOS APP.
Once the updates are complete you will now see a new source called “This iPhone” on your iPhone SONOS APP.
Now you can choose anything from your iPhone’s library to play in any SONOS Zone, AMAZING!
We have already tested this feature with taking phone calls while playing music from the same iPhone and we can confirm that there are no interruptions of music.
